The Velvet Touch Dual Density Strap on Dildo from Crassie is one of the most plush dual density dildos I’ve ever touched. Its outer texture is literally marshmallow soft, and its inner texture is what I imagine 00-40 silicone feels like, right between 00-30 and 00-50, on the silicone density scale.
Specs and Options
The Crassie Dual Density Strap on Dildo comes in two sizes and two colors: small, and large, and pink or green. The small size is 5.5 inches long, 5.1 of those inches being insertable. It’s 1.1 inches diameter at its widest point, and has a 2.1 inch suction cup base.
The large size is 6.4 inches long, 5.9 inches insertable length, and 1.3 inches diameter at its widest point, and a 2.5 inch suction cup base.
Both options are body safe, being made of platinum silicone.
I own the large size in the green color.

You Need Lube!
The first thing I want to say about the Crassie Dual Density Strap on Dildo is you need lube! Yes, I am always talking about lube around here, especially if you deal with dryness issues like me, but trust me, you need lube with this dildo. I think it’s precisely because the outer layer is so squishy, but if you aren’t using lube the silicone can feel super draggy. Even if you’re someone who is pouring waterfalls, putting a couple drops of lube on this dildo makes it much more comfortable. It’s a non-textured dildo, and it feels velvety smooth to the touch when dry, but once you’re using it that silicone becomes draggy.
Remember, do not use silicone lubricant with silicone toys. It’s recommended you stick to water-based lubes, and spot test all hybrid lubes before full use.

Who the Crassie Dual Density Strap on Dildo May be Good For
I do not use the term “beginner sex toys” around here often because sex toys of all shapes and sizes can be used by anyone of any experience level. However, the Crassie Dual Density Strap on Dildo is definitely the kind of sex toy I often see people requesting as their first dildo. It’s soft, non-representational, comes in two sizes, is offered in non-realistic colors, and is generally just very easy going. Obviously, these traits aren’t wanted only by those shopping for their first sex toys, but traits anyone can desire.
If you’re someone who deals with a very sensitive vaginal canal and you don’t like intense stimulation, so you’re always on the hunt for extra soft dildos, this is the one for you. Between the marshmallow softness, the pliable body, and the two size options (both on the slender side) this dildo is a good fit for those sensitive to intense penetration, as long as you’re using extra lubrication.

How the Crassie Dual Density Strap on Dildo feels
The Crassie Dual Density Strap on Dildo is more narrow than most of the dildos I use, but it is good for the days when my vaginal pain is more severe. I have never been diagnosed with anything like vulvodynia or vaginismus, but my vaginal canal gets tight knots that can make inserting larger, or firmer dildos uncomfortable, at times. The plush outer layer is perfect for clenching and squeezing on even on my worst pain days. It also works well as a warm up dildo on my way to girthier toys.
The inner core is firm enough to hold up to me thrusting it fairly quickly but if I am doing a lot of clenching and I thrust it too shallowly my clenching will squeeze it out. I also have to align it carefully to put it in when it comes out since it does bend so easily.
The Crassie Dual Density Dildo doesn’t have a clearly defined “up and down” which is nice because it means you can comfortably use the dildo curved upward, or downward without anything getting in the way. When I use the Crassie Dual Density Dildo angled downward the two subtle bumps on the top gently stimulate my G-spot. If you’re someone who has a very sensitive G-spot and you don’t like a lot of direct, or intense stimulation this dildo is a good option for subtle stimulation that doesn’t cross over into the no stimulation zone.
When I use the Crassie Dual Density Strap on Dildo with the curve upwards, the dip in the shape cups my urethral sponge tissue (the G-spot area) which means the head curves upward gently behind this area. The head then lightly presses and pulls at my entire front wall, catching on that spongy tissue just a bit extra.
The Crassie Dual Density Strap on Dildo is not one I use for A-spot or cervical stimulation because it’s not firm enough for me, or shaped the right way to curve into the pockets around my cervix. So while the website mentions being good for A-spot stimulation I would say definitely not, in my case.
Rather I’m using the dildo curved up or curved down, the stimulation is definitely on the subtle side because of the soft outer layer and bendy inner core. The Crassie Dual Density Dildo is not one that I would call intense in any fashion and if you’re someone who needs unrelenting pressure, or intense pounding you’ll want to look elsewhere.

Using the Crassie Strap on Dildo in a Strap On Harness
Crassie is a queer focused company, with special emphasis on making products for lesbians, but of course, anyone can use a strap on. If you’re new to using a strap on dildo, or your partner is new to receiving a strap on dildo, the Crassie Dual Density Strap on Dildo may make for an appealing choice specifically because of its softness. When you’re new to using a strap on, getting your rhythm down can take some time and practice; having a dildo that’s not too big, or too stiff can help make this learning more comfortable for your partner.
The suction cup base on this dildo is rather flexible but strong enough that it stays in both underwear-style and buckle/strap style harnesses without slipping out.
Since the Crassie Dual Density Strap on Dildo is soft and pliable if you’re using long thrusts, and your partner is clenching at the same time it does have a tendency to slip out easier. You do also have to guide it back inside.

The Suction Cup Base
The suction cup on the Crassie Strap on dildo is very strong. I can pull this dildo to almost double its length without the suction cup disattaching.
Do I recommend it for anal?
While the size of the suction cup base does make the Crassie Dual Density Dildo anal-safe it is difficult to insert anally because it does bend so easily. The draggy silicone also disqualifies it from being a good anal dildo, in my opinion.

Cleaning The Crassie Dildo
Cleaning the Crassie Dual Density Strap on Dildo is simple. Use mild soap and warm water and scrub everything down good. The soft silicone is a super lint magnet so dry with a lint free cloth or let air dry before storage. You will likely need to clean the dildo before use too, because it’s going to pick up some random lint or hair.
