Falkor Micro Stroker Review from Someone without Bottom Growth

If you’ve been on my blog before and read some of my other reviews you may have noticed that I have mentioned wanting to find a stroker for my clit a few times. I’ve even purchased other sex toys that I thought may help me replicate the feeling, to varying degrees of success. I also mentioned that I didn’t think a mini stroker/penetrable, also often referred to as a FTM stroker, would fit my body since I have never taken testosterone and therefore do not have any bottom growth. Recently though after reviewing my Mr. Peacock Packer from Squidly Co. they reached out to me about review ideas and I asked if they would be interested in me reviewing the Falkor Micro Stroker, and that’s how I came to own a closed-end, smooth tunnel Falkor Stroker, in medium firm silicone.

What made me change my mind on giving the Falkor Micro Stroker a try is when I bought my Mr. Peacock Packer I also purchased a squish size Falkor. The squish size IS NOT intended to be used as a sex toy, at all, just a squish, but I wanted to see the sizing and experiment, for science. Now the squish version was too small for me to use on my clit unless I used the backside, but this just created an uneven suction that produced basically a pocket of fluid on my clit. Not a good time. While the Falkor squish gave me the confidence to want to try the full-size Falkor Micro Stroker I wouldn’t recommend the squish as a sex toy. The back end is also still smaller than the actual Falkor Stroker, so it’s not a perfect way to judge anyway.

So if you’re like me and have ever wondered if you can use the Falkor Stroker, or a FTM stroker, on your clit/preferred term, without bottom growth hopefully this review can answer that question and more. I have what I consider to be a medium-sized clit, and as I said I have not taken testosterone, and do not have bottom growth. Some folks who take testosterone also do not experience any bottom growth and may be wondering if a mini stroker will still work for them, too. I will be referring to my anatomy as a clit during this review, but I encourage everyone to use the language and terms that they like for their own anatomy.

Appearance, Options, and Specs

The Falkor Micro Stroker was designed by Frost and is made and poured by Squidly Co. It comes in three options: two closed-end tunnels, and one open ended tunnel; the closed tunnels come in smooth or textured and the open tunnel is textured. Squidly Co. offers a wide variety of colors and sparkles for you to choose from if you don’t want to purchase a pre-made Falkor Stroker. My Falkor is in the rose quartz coloration and I really love Squidly Co.’s gemstone colorations, as they really do look like the stones. Falkor is designed to look like the mouth/snout of a dragon-like creature. Sharp teeth run down the sides, and two tendrils/whiskers run under the chin; its appearance is slightly more monster-esque than the dragon with the same name from the movie, in my opinion.

Measurements

The Falkor measures: 3 inches long, 1 ⅝  inches wide/tall. The mouth opening is ⅝ inches wide, and ½ inch opening tall.

For comparison the Falkor Squishy measures: 2 ¼ inches long, about 1 ⅛ inches wide/tall, the mouth opening is roughly ⅜ inch wide, and ¼ inch tall. The back opening is ½ inch wide and 1/4 inch tall.

Lube

Right away I’ll say you’ll most likely want some lube with the Falkor. Even if you don’t struggle to produce your own lubrication like I do, silicone benefits from lubricant. Just like lubricant is needed for full size strokers your experience is going to be greatly enhanced by lubricating the tunnel of the Falkor Stroker before you begin. The amount of lubricant you need will vary, of course, and if your body doesn’t produce enough lubricant like mine, you may need to re-lube while using the Falkor. Sometimes it feels better to use a small amount or lube, and sometimes a lot of lube. I encourage you to just experiment.

Initial Experience

My first instinct was to the suction the Falkor Stroker to my clit as tight as I could because I was worried it would just keep coming off if I didn’t get a tight seal. The sealing ability on the Falkor is very excellent. When I squish all the air out of the tunnel and suction it to my clit it is firmly attached, and it stays that way even with rather firm tugging and stroking.

What I found out from this process though is that if I start with this level of suction it numbs my clit pretty much. I lose the ability to feel the stimulation and sensations that the Falkor are providing. I should have known this would be an issue because when I use suction toys/pumps I also experience this issue. So I began experimenting again.

Squeezing the Tunnel

I started using a medium level of suction instead and squeezing the Falkor’s sides repeatedly, basically pinching my clit in the tunnel over and over. This method feels pretty good, especially once I’m more aroused and my clit is more engorged. If you enjoy oral sex, or handjobs from yourself or your partner where pressure is applied to your clit/preferred term while sucking it, or pulling it gently, the stimulation is similar to that. I like to use the Falkor this way some of the time I’m using it, but not beginning to end. The medium level of suction doesn’t numb me as bad as the tightest suction, as long as I don’t start off with it right away, too.

I feel the medium firm level of silicone is a great option for this. It’s squishy enough to be able to squeeze repeatedly without fatiguing my hand, but firm enough to apply pressure.

Less is More

Eventually I started using minimal suction, less concerned about keeping the Falkor Micro Stroker firmly attached to my clit, and more interested in seeing how it’d feel to penetrate the hole with my clit. Using less suction allows the skin of my clitoral hood to move around more freely, and allows the head of my clit to be exposed easier. I can angle the mouth of the Falkor to push the hood of my clit back, and rub the exposed head with the tunnel in ways I want. Sometimes I just press the tunnel onto my clit over and over, even without suction; using the very edge of the Falkor’s opening to push the skin back, and stroke against my exposed clit. I really enjoy direct clitoral stimulation, so being able to do this is a big plus for me. If you do not like direct stimulation the way I do though don’t worry because you can just angle the Falkor differently to avoid this.

Using less suction does mean I have to be more gentle with my movements if I want the Falkor to stay attached, but even when the suction breaks seal it’s not a deal breaker for me. It’s very easy to reseal with just a gentle squeeze.

I want to clarify that my clit doesn’t fill up the entire circumference of the tunnel from most angles, so it’s not making direct contact from every side at all times. Depending on the size of your anatomy this may or may not be the case for you, and that will change how the tunnel feels for you some.

Stroking versus Grinding

Once I figured out that starting with minimal suction works better for me I started to enjoy the Falkor a lot more. As more blood flows into my clit from arousal, and it becomes more erect I can increase the level of suction though, without the numbing issue. As I reach the point of arousal where I can use a mid level of suction I enjoy pressing the Falkor against my body more firmly and grinding it front to back on my clit. This allows me to stimulate not only the head of my clit but my clit shaft, as well. This is where I feel the size of my anatomy impacts how I use the stroker the most. If my clit was bigger, more of my shaft would end up in the tunnel and I would probably be able to stimulate everything with up and down stroking, but in order to stimulate the head and shaft in the way I want I have to use more of this back and forth grinding motion.

I still use the up and down stroking method a good portion of the time I’m using the Falkor but as I get more aroused, and my clit becomes even more erect I find myself wanting to stimulate more of it. This back and forth grinding, along with the suction of the tunnel just allows me to stroke my entire clit head and shaft better.

Now you may be wondering, how is this any different from a grinder then? The suction, and the tunnel itself means it’s a more direct and concentrated feeling right on my clit. When I use grinders the sensations are more widespread and I have a harder time concentrating the stimulation to my clit. When I am using the Falkor in this back and forth grinding motion it still feels like I am stroking my clit.

Tunnel Texture

My Falkor is the smooth, non-textured tunnel, which is what is often suggested for low, or no bottom growth. Which I think is because it’s supposed to help you get a better seal than a textured one. I do believe with the ways I prefer to use the Falkor, and the fact I don’t get a lot from the suction itself, I may have benefited more from a textured tunnel though, but that’s just a hypothesis at this point. If I ever get a textured tunnel Falkor though I will have a review for the differences.

What’s it feel like? How are the orgasms?

If you’ve never tried a mini stroker before you’re likely wondering what does the sensation feel like? I can’t speak for everyone but I will tell you what it’s like for me. Using the Falkor stroker feels closer to receiving oral sex than many air pulse toys do. This is because the oral I ask my partner to give me is less about tongue flicking and more about suction, pressure, and grinding movements; I like the oral I receive to be more “blowjob-like” than how cunnilingus is typically depicted. It’s not an exact one to one replication but it’s what it makes me think of.

If you’re someone who finds vibrators overwhelming, and you have always preferred just using your fingers, or grinders, I do think that the Falkor could potentially be a good candidate to try out. It provides more subtle sensations that feel like handjobs from partners, and oral sex, as I said.

The one area that took me some time to adjust to is the lack of pressure. When I masturbate, rather it be with sex toys, or my own fingers, I apply a lot of pressure to my clit. Brains are amazing at mapping new pleasure pathways though, and it can be really good to shake up routines even in masturbation. The more pathways you have to pleasure, the more pleasure you can receive. After using the Falkor Stroker a few times I found non-pressure sensations to enjoy, too.

When I orgasm with the Falkor Stroker it’s intense. It’s a very direct, sharp, orgasm in my external clit. For me the orgasm doesn’t extend to my internal clitoral structure, but I didn’t expect them to. The orgasms I have with the Falkor are almost always a one and done, because they do make my clit too sensitive to keep going. This makes the Falkor Stroker a great toy to reach for when I don’t have a ton of time and just want a quickie with myself.

Hand Positioning

One of the questions I was asked about was how to hold the Falkor. For me I hold the Falkor with my thumb, index, middle, and ring finger mainly. I use it upright (nostrils on top) because the “chin” juts out slightly and rubs beneath my clit perfectly. I have tried turning it so the teeth are oriented to the top and bottom, but this makes the suction work weird for me. I occasionally palm the whole toy, and wrap my hand around it to jerk the way I would a dick to give my hand a break from the other method of holding it. The flat top makes this feel slightly awkward though so I always go back to just finger-holding. My chronic pain is starting to affect my hands so I find myself shifting how I hold sex toys more frequently these days, but overall, I do not find it’s a difficult toy to hold.

Other Questions and Answers

Can the Falkor be paired with a penetrating toy (dildo/vibrator, etc.,)? For me, yes. I do have to keep the rhythm of my strokes the same or the Falkor will lose suction though. This could also change depending on how far apart your clit/preferred term is from your vaginal canal/preferred term. I will often pair the Falkor Stroker with my Sassy for internal vibrations, or to just have something to clench around that stays in place without me holding it.

A question I personally had before trying the Falkor because it’s an issue with some pumps was: will my labia minora get in the way? My right labia minora will sometimes get pulled into the Falkor’s tunnel if I don’t have a lot of blood flow to the area yet. This isn’t painful and it really doesn’t hinder my experience, either. Once everything is more engorged it’s less likely to get pulled into the tunnel, and when it does happen to get pulled in all I have to do is break suction and reposition slightly.

So Do I think Falkor is Good for Folks without Bottom Growth, or who are Pre-T?

I wish I could give an easy, catch-all answer for this, but the truth is bodies are so different that there’s no simple yes or no answer. As I said, my clit is medium-sized (in my own approximation); I have a fleshy vulva with lots of skin folds and my clit head and shaft are both easy to feel and mostly see when erect. I do think that the closed-end Falkor will work for many people without bottom growth, or who are pre-T, because the level of suction is very good. However, depending on how you’re hoping to use the Falkor Micro Stroker may determine whether or not you view it as a success. What type of stimulation you normally like to receive will also play a big role, too.

If you find that you like the stimulation from pumps, or suction-focused oral sex you will likely enjoy Falkor. If you’re someone who is overwhelmed by vibrations and you prefer to just rub or stroke yourself with fingers or grinder-style sex toys but want more direct focus on your clit/preferred term then I would say that the Falkor has a good chance of working for you.

For those whose anatomy is smaller than mine I would still say most of these considerations stay the same. If you do not enjoy suction pressure, or find any pulling of your clit/preferred term painful then the Falkor stroker probably isn’t for you.

Cleaning

There isn’t anything special to note about cleaning beyond just making sure you get into all the nooks and crannies of the teeth and outside appearance. And of course clean out the tunnel. If you get the textured tunnel as opposed to the smooth give it a little more attention when cleaning. Use a mild soap and warm water for cleaning. I personally use an extra soft toothbrush to scrub all my sex toys down to get body fluids and lube out easier but a washcloth or your hands work fine, too.
